Become A Judge
We are seeking leaders in the book publishing industry to join the prestigious group of judges for the Next Generation Indie Book Awards, the largest international book awards program honoring exceptional independently published books.
Judges for the Next Generation Indie Book Awards are all actively involved in the publishing industry. They include literary agents, editors, book reviewers, writing teachers, publishing executives, best-selling authors, and experts in the various areas of judging including book design.
We welcome applicants who have expertise with book publishers of any size. While many of our judges have worked with successful independent publishers, some have worked with major publishing houses such as Simon & Schuster, Harper Collins, Penguin Books, Bantam Books, Dell Publishing (part of the Random House Group), and Avon Books, among others.
Judges for the Next Generation Indie Book Awards are paid a modest honorarium. We have a particular need for judges who are skilled at identifying emerging talent in fiction.
